The technique used was the survey and the measurement instruments were the COVID-19 Fear Scale and the Coronavirus Anxiety Scale. Results: Regarding age, the minimum was 20 years and the maximum 61 years, the average being 45.09 years. Regarding sex, 77.1% (n = 54) were women and 22.9% (n = 16) were men. Regarding fear of COVID-19, the medium level predominated with 74.3% (n = 52), followed by high with 22.9% (n = 16) and low with 2.9% (n = 2). In relation to the dimensions of fear of COVID-19, in reactions to emotional fear the high level predominated with 65.7% (n = 46) and in somatic expressions to fear the medium predominated with 65.7% (n = 46). Regarding anxiety due to coronavirus, the final value without anxiety predominated with 92.9% (n = 65). Likewise, there is a slight directly proportional significant relationship between fear of COVID-19 and anxiety due to coronavirus (p <0.005). Conclusions: Regarding the fear of COVID-19, the average level predominated and in anxiety due to coronavirus the final value without anxiety. There is a slight directly proportional significant relationship between both main variables.
