QUALITY OF LIFE RELATED TO HEALTH IN PEOPLE WITH COVID-19, INTERNED IN A HOSPITAL ESTABLISHMENT IN CALLAO

Objective: To determine the quality of life related to health in people with COVID-19, admitted to a hospital in Callao.
Materials and methods: This study was prepared from a quantitative approach perspective and its methodological design was descriptive and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 72 patients. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument was the EUROQOL questionnaire, structured by 5 items and 5 dimensions.
Results: Regarding quality of life, those with a medium level predominate with 58.3% (n=42), followed by a high level with 22.2% (n=16) and a low level with 19.4. % (n=14). According to its dimensions, in mobility, those who do not have problems walking predominate with 55.6% (n=40), in personal care, those who do not have problems predominate with 55.6% (n=40), in daily activities, those who have some problems predominate with 51.4% (n=37), in discomfort pain, those who have moderate pain predominate with 70.8% (n=51), in anxiety depression, 41 participants representing 56 .9% are moderately anxious or depressed.
Conclusions: Regarding the quality of life, those with a medium level predominate, followed by a high level and a low level.
