Abstract:
Objective: To determine quality of life and life satisfaction among older adults living in a vulnerable area in Northern Lima in 2026. Materials and Methods: This is a quantitative, descriptive, and non-experimental study with a sample of 250 participants who completed a questionnaire on sociodemographic data, a tool to measure quality of life in older adults, and a life satisfaction scale. Results: The results showed that 56.1% (n=142) of older adults had an average quality of life, and 31.1% of older adults reported high life satisfaction. Conclusions: In conclusion, social support including family relationships, friendships, and community involvement is a determining factor for life satisfaction among older adults.
