Adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con tuberculosis atendidos en un centro de salud de atención primaria en Lima Sur

Resumen

Objetivo: Determinar la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con tuberculosis atendidos en un centro de salud de atención primaria de Lima Sur. Materiales y métodos: El presente estudio fue abordado desde un enfoque cuantitativo y su diseño metodológico fue descriptivo y transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 45 pacientes con tuberculosis atendidos en un centro de salud de atención primaria de Lima Sur. La muestra final estuvo constituida por 35 pacientes con tuberculosis. La técnica empleada en la investigación fue la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos aplicado fue el cuestionario de Morisky-Green-Levine. Resultados: En cuanto a la edad de los pacientes, el mínimo fue 18 años y el máximo 64 años. En cuanto al sexo, predominaron las mujeres con 57,1% (n=20), seguido de los varones con 42,9% (n=15). En cuanto a la adherencia al tratamiento, predominaron los pacientes con tuberculosis que si son adherentes con su tratamiento con 65,71% (n=23), seguido de aquellos pacientes que no son adherentes con su tratamiento con 34,29% (n=12). Conclusiones: En cuanto a la adherencia al tratamiento, predominaron los pacientes con tuberculosis que, si son adherentes con su tratamiento, seguido de aquellos pacientes que no son adherentes con su tratamiento.
